A public consultation event was held on Thursday 13 November 2025 at Rackenford Community Hall.

Attendees were invited to view the display boards, ask questions about the proposals and share comments. The consultation materials presented at the event are available to view on the Consultation Boards page of this website.

Feedback gathered during and after the public consultation is being reviewed by the project team.

Comments received from local residents, parish representatives and stakeholders will help inform the final planning submission. A summary of the feedback will be included within the planning application documents.

The planning application for the East Nutcott Farm clean inert landfill restoration and habitat creation scheme is expected to be submitted to the local planning authority in December 2025.

Once submitted, the application will be validated by the council and made available on the planning portal for public viewing. The application reference number and a link to the portal will be added here when available.

Based on the expected submission date and standard assessment timeframes, the planning application is anticipated to be determined by the local planning authority in April 2026.

This date is indicative and may change depending on the council’s statutory consultation period, responses from consultees and any additional information requested during the determination process.

An update will be provided here once the formal decision has been issued.
